By using PromptDuel ("Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

PromptDuel is a Chrome extension and web service that helps users optimize AI prompts and compare responses from multiple AI models (GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini) side-by-side.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or rate restrictions
• Use automated tools to scrape or mass-access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Use the Service to extract personal information about individuals

4. Subscription & Payments

The Free plan provides limited access at no cost. The Pro plan ($6.99/month or $59.99/year) provides expanded access. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all prompts you submit and context you create. AI-generated responses are subject to the terms of the respective AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. AI-Generated Content

Responses from AI models may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors. PromptDuel does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before use.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on third-party APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) which may experience downtime. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptDuel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
